1st Time to The River

What do I wear?

Some wear jeans, khakis or skirts, and others wear suits; some wear polos, button-downs, blouses and others t-shirts. We feel it is most important that you come how you feel comfortable.

What's expected of me?

We will not ask you to speak outloud, give financially or stand up; just come in, participate at your comfort level and see what God is doing.  Enjoy coffee and snacks and we would love for you to stick around if you want to. We look forward to getting to know you.

Do I need to bring a Bible?

Sure, if you have one and want to; if not, there is one available for you.

Can I take Communion at The River?

Anyone who is a baptized believer in Jesus Christ can take part in Communion. If you are not yet baptized, or have not yet placed your trust in Christ you are welcome to come forward during communion for prayer, or you can remain seated.

What are the ages of those who attend?

We have a lot of young people, students, singles, marrieds in their 20’s and families with kids. We are also very thankful for older couples and individuals who (like PILLARS) who hold up our body. We are a spiritual FAMILY not only needing sons and daughters, but also spiritual parents and grandparents.
