Purpose

At The River, we are to:

• LIFT UP the person of Jesus Christ through WORSHIP.
• LIVE OUT our faith in COMMUNITY.
• LOVE ALL inside and outside the community of faith.

First, as we worship Jesus through word and deed, He is lifted up for all to see through us. 

Second, our faith gets traction through living it out in community.  This happens in many ways, but one big way this is lived out is through LIFE groups.  In these groups we care for one another, have fun, pray, study and serve.  We also have opportunities for men and women to share life and see Christ formed in us.

Finally, we love all through how we related in the Body of Christ, and how the Body relates to the world.  We cannot love God unless we love those inside and outside of the community of Faith.
