“Why do so many people reject the Church but like Jesus?”
Many see Jesus as authentic, organic, tolerant, relevant and benevolent, but the Church as hypocritical, institutional, judgmental, inapplicable and uncharitable. Why?
PLEASE JOIN US in this discussion-based series as we look at the history and nature of the Church, our own tendencies and the person of Jesus in the New Testament. From this reflection we believe we can learn from the past and live like Jesus in the future.
WHERE: The Blacksburg Community Center
WHEN: Five-weeks from June 24th through July 22nd on Wednesday evenings from 6:00-8:00 pm
HOW: Food will be served from 6:00-6:30 pm; Teaching and discussion are from 7:00-8:00 pm
