Marie Snyder

Marie has spent her entire life in Southwest Virginia, growing up in Roanoke and spending the last three and a half years in Blacksburg as a student at Virginia Tech. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education with endorsements in Agriculture and Biology. With a deep appreciation for curiosity and learning, Marie felt called to pursue a career in education.

Marie serves as a Wyldlife leader at Auburn Middle School and loves going on adventures. She is always eager to play competitive sports and games and thrives in environments that build connection and joy.

As Marie and her fiancé, Grant Helm, step into what’s next, she has found herself at The River, excited to bring her experience, energy, and heart for young people to help lead others toward the joy and freedom found in Christ.
