As We Forgive - Monday, March 27th - The Lyric Theatre.
Could you forgive a person who murdered your family? This is the question faced by the subjects of As We Forgive, a documentary film about two Rwandan women coming face-to-face with the men who slaughtered their families during the 1994 genocide after being released back into the communities they helped to destroy.
As We Forgive explores the lives of four neighbors once caught in opposite tides of a genocidal bloodbath, chronicling their extraordinary journey from death to life through forgiveness.

The Rev. Dr. Jonathan R. Tagg
We worship at 9:15am in the First Church of God, 110 Roanoke St. in Blacksburg. We have a room for nursery-aged children that is adjacent to the sanctuary. Pre-K and Elementary children begin with their families in the sanctuary and are welcome to stay in the service for its entirety, or they can join other children for Godly Play from 9:35 - 10:20 in the fellowship building. They rejoin the congregation for Communion. After the service we have excellent coffee, fellowship, and adult education classes.
Come and visit us in this historic building!
